Dr. ANUPAM BHATNAGAR B. E. (Mining), M. Tech. (Mining) and PhD. is working as Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering, College of Technology and Engineering, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Rajasthan INDIA since 1988. He has 36 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Mining Engineering.
His area of expertise is Marble Mining and Processing, Metalliferrous Mining. He has handled Three AICTE projects, namely, AICTE Young Teacher Career award, AICTE R & D Project and AICTE MODROB project. In AICTE R&D project he was Awarded EXCELLENT “A” Grade in Monitoring meeting.
In addition to Dean, CTAE he is also Convener, University Consultancy Cell, MPUAT, since 08/05/2019
He has guided many PhDs and PGs as Major Adviser and Adviser. He was awarded Sitaram Rungta Award by Mining Engineers’ Association of India for the Best Paper in 2004-05.
He received a Patent Granted by Republic of South Africa on “A process of selecting the secured position of the Drone for mapping live mine blasts.”
He has also handled Head mining for 9 years, Information and Placement Bureau, CTAE for 8 years, DDO and Administrative officer for 2 years apart from many administrative and academic responsibilities.
He authored One book, 04 Manuals, 70 Research papers in international and national journals. He is reviewer in 09 International and Nationall agencies for paper and project proposal review.
Presently as State Government assignment, he is Expert Member, State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC)-4 (SEIAA) by since 06/2024. Also Member, Board of Governors (BOGs) Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) project at MBM University, Jodhpur since 28.05.20.
Previously he was Expert Member, Udaipur District Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA) in 2016, Former Member, AICTE- committee National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) for MINING 2014.
Outside University also he is expert for recruitment in Government Departments, companies and Private companies, Universities, IITs, etc. Also Ph.D. Examiner at I. I.T Kharagpur and J.N. Vyas University Jodhpur, NITK, Suratkal, Pacific University, RTU Kota.
He has delivered expert lectures at J.N. Vyas University Jodhpur, NITK, Suratkal, Pacific University and OTC training etc.
He has been member and Office bearer of local center of MEAI, IEI & MBM alumni societies.
He has completed many Consultancy in field of Dust analysis, blasting marble mining etc to UCCI, Wolkem India Ltd., Aditya Cements, Birla Cements and Vikram Cements, J. K. Lakshmi Cement, Suarastra Chemicals, Wonder Cement Galaxy Exports, Grace Marbles, Modi stone, Sejalai stones etc.
He was Invited and sponsored by chamber of commerce, Diyarbakir, TURKEY, the host to attend and present Two papers in International Symposium on Evaluation of Marble Wastes and Decreasing Environmental Effects, 16-17 October 2009 at Diyarbakir, TURKEY.
